I build frontend systems that make complicated products easier to use

I'm Kartick Kapilashrami, a frontend engineer based in Stockholm. My work usually sits where product complexity, interaction design, and maintainable React architecture meet.

At Lendo, I work on business-critical flows with multiple integrations, shared monorepo patterns, admin refactoring, rendering performance, and Playwright migration work. I like making the important paths feel calmer for both users and the teams maintaining them.

Before that, I worked at AFRY with clients including Hertz Nordic and Uppsala University, leading frontend architecture, React migrations, UX/UI design, CI/CD setup, and testing strategy for complex operational and healthcare domains.

The thread through all of it is simple: clarify the problem early, build interfaces that can evolve, and keep product, design, backend, and frontend moving in the same direction. Outside work, football and family keep me nicely grounded.
